Accessibility Statement – Stopline

Stopline is committed to ensuring its websites are accessible in accordance with the Federal Web Accessibility Act (WZG), which governs barrier-free access to websites and mobile applications.

Commitment to Supporting Accessibility

Stopline is continuously enhancing the digital accessibility of its online services. The objective is to ensure that content is accessible and usable by all individuals, regardless of their abilities. Content is being progressively reviewed, updated, and aligned with the applicable legal standards.

This website is largely compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Certain sections do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standards and are detailed below.

Non-Accessible Content

a. Incompatibility with Accessibility Requirements

  • Alternative text for non-text content has not yet been implemented consistently across all instances.
  • Pre-recorded video content containing audio has not yet been supplemented with synchronized captions and audio descriptions for visual elements.
  • The structure of heading levels is not yet fully standardized throughout the website.
  • Enhancements to color contrast in the footer area are currently in the process of being implemented.
  • PDF documents provided for download are presently not fully accessible. Should you require assistance, please contact us at office@stopline.at. We will make every effort to provide the content in an accessible format.

b. Content Outside the Scope of Application

  • Documents and content published prior to 28 June 2025 do not fall within the mandatory scope of accessibility requirements. Nonetheless, Stopline is committed to progressively enhancing the accessibility of such materials.
  • Stopline has no influence over third-party content that is neither developed, funded, nor controlled by the organization.

This website is designed to be compatible with the following browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Enforcement Procedure

If you do not receive a satisfactory response via the contact option provided above, you may file a complaint with the Complaints Office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft, a limited liability company– FFG). Complaints can be submitted electronically via the Contact Form provided by the Complaints Office. The FFG will review whether the complaint concerns violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), in particular deficiencies in the compliance with accessibility requirements by the federal government or by an institution attributable to it. If the complaint is found to be justified, the FFG will issue recommendations for action to the federal authority or the relevant legal entity and propose measures aimed at remedying the identified deficiencies.
