In order to present detailed information about the Stopline’s internal and external activities, the Stopline staff members create statistics for the current year, which are updated monthly and cover different aspects. The current Stopline statistics 2010 are available in different versions:
- Statistic "Incoming reports" – This statistic includes the reports transmitted to the Stopline with regard to different internet services.
- Statistic "Illegal content" – This statistic shows how many incoming reports have been classified as “illegal” by the Stopline staff members according to the Austrian laws.
- Statistic "Country of origin" – Internet contents can largely be traced technically, so it is possible to find the country where the illegal content is supposed to be hosted. This investigation is performed by the agents in order to forward illegal contents to foreign partner-hotlines. This statistic shows that hardly any illegal contents are hosted in Austria – i.e. by Austrian providers.
